Thank you for your patience while we are building our permanent site (our soon to be main website). We are using state-of-the-art tools for this project, including Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 (a web site editor), Adobe Photoshop CS4 (an image editor), and Adobe Flash Professional, which will allow us to imbed video in our site that can be played even with those of you that have slow internet connections.
If you have just one website, you may only be concerned about its "look and feel" (very important). However, if you have 20 (or more) websites, like we do, you need to be concerned about content management. Joomla is probably the best open source PHP CMS (Content Management System) on the planet. This allows all of our content creators to submit content without requiring technical knowledge of HTML or the uploading of files.
Building our websites (using Joomla) will be done in concert with the design and engineering (construction) of Don's Digital Café. We sincerely hope that you understand and appreciate the amount of work (and expense) involved in such an effort. This is not just one project (building a website), but many projects (building multiple websites and designing and engineering our "Don's Digital Café").

Digital Video Pod-casting Studio, Digital Web Design Studio, Digital
Graphic Design Studio, Digital Darkroom, Digital 3D Art Studio and
Digital Photography Studio (among other things).
As a dyed-in-the-wool advocate of "form follows function",
Don Cook spent the late '70's in the advertising design scene.
His high IQ
(Imagination Quotient) and Marketing skills allowed him to obtain and
maintain contented A+ Clients (including a BMW dealership and a Fiat
dealership, among many others) for the Advertising Agency that he owned for 4 years (Target Advertising Group).
He became a
master of combining sales psychology with the often subtle power of
graphic design to present quantitative information in qualitative ways.
Don's Digital Café is the marketing "engine" for all of the web properties (websites) that we own. It exists for one reason: To drive traffic to our websites and by so doing, increase their value. We do not offer any services to the public (although that might change). However, we have been known to provide services free-of-charge to deserving people and organizations (such as Organic Farms, and Humanitarian Organizations).
We hope to have our Recording Studio designed and engineered (constructed) before the end of the year. Our permanent website will go live (be published) sometime afterward, hopefully during the month of January, 2010.

the Eco-friendly route to hop on the ‘green’ bandwagon. We chose to
because it was the right thing to do. We believe that if every

Don Cook, the Founder and CEO of Don's Digital Café was raised on an organic farm in central Oregon. He bought the Whole Earth Catalog in 1994, he helped build a water purification plant in Guadalajara, Mexico, as well as solar and wind powered electricity systems in two Countries. He lives a mostly organic, vegan lifestyle.
Launched in 2008 by Discovery Chanel Communications (same year that Don's Digital Café was founded), Planet Green is
the first and only 24-hour "Eco-lifestyle entertainment network."
On television (broadcast in both digital High Defiinition and digital Standard Definition), online and on demand, Planet Green is dedicated to making green

Perched on top of a green planet in our Planet Greenology Logo is the Red Eyed Tree Frog. It is our mascot, and you will find it on all of our websites. The Red Eyed Tree Frog, despite its conspicuous coloration (red eyes, green body, blue and yellow belly, and orange feet), is not venomous.
They are found in tropical lowlands from southern Mexico, throughout
Central America, and in northern South America. Nocturnal carnivores,
they hide in the rain forest canopy and ambush crickets, flies, and
moths with their long, sticky tongues.
Red-eyed Tree Frogs are not endangered. But their habitat is shrinking
at an alarming rate, and their highly recognizable image is often used
to promote the cause of saving the world's rain forests.
Don Cook is a member of Greenpeace, an organization devoted to saving our planet (our
home) from the short sightedness of individuals and corporations who
have, in the race to make money, overlooked the long term results of
their actions.
The newly released Greenpeace report, Energy [R]evolution: A Sustainable U.S.A. Energy Outlook,
details how the United States can cut greenhouse gas emissions to the
levels we must reach in order to prevent the worst effects of global
